Split tips and fees fairly

An even split divides the tip by the number of people, which suits a table that ordered roughly the same.

A proportional split applies the tip as a percentage of each person's own subtotal, so whoever ordered the most contributes the most. On an uneven bill this is usually the fairer option.

Card fees are entered as a percentage and behave exactly like tips. They affect both the individual subtotals and the grand total.

When the receipt currency matches the currency you settle in, the fee defaults to zero because no conversion takes place.
